Employee & Employer Register overview

This service provides structured information about who is employed where, and under which conditions. The register is a key source for public entities working with rights, obligations, and control related to working life.

The register is owned and managed by NAV and contains detailed information about ordinary and maritime employment relationships, as well as certain freelance assignments. The register is based on reporting through the “A-melding” and is continuously updated.

Who can use the service?

Access to this service requires approval from NAV and is reserved for public agencies that need employment data for public administrative tasks
